The film is based on years of research of a specific area, a remote natural space to which I am connected through family history and memory. In it, "Her" memories intertwine with my own, through which I reflect on the history and identity of the landscape, as well as the relationships that occur in that space. These reflections led me to question how to unravel these relationships through voice, image, and sound.
By exploring physicality and temporality, I record various micro-relationships., such as those between the bark of a tree and the sun’s rays, plants and their frequencies, or film strips in contact with light and toxicity. I film the non-human world while simultaneously incorporating that world and its properties into the fabric of the film.
How to reach a moment that opens somewhere in between, just like the moment between creation, becoming, and disappearance.
