What does it mean to learn, to navigate the new and unexpected, to listen and articulate? What does amateur performance tell us, and how does it shape expressions that disappear with professionalization? The film questions the boundaries between documentary, fictional, and experimental elements, which intertwine both among themselves and in the dynamics in front of and behind the camera—the relationship between the filmmaker and the camera, the relationship between the filmmaker and the filmed, and the interaction between the filmed and the filmmaker.
